About Citrine
Citrine is the transparent yellow to orange variety of quartz. Natural citrine is relatively uncommon, and much of the citrine available today is produced by heat-treating amethyst or other quartz material.
Meaning & Symbolism
Traditionally associated with optimism, abundance, confidence, and warmth, citrine's golden colouring has long inspired connections with sunlight and prosperity.
Care Guide
Citrine has a Mohs hardness of 7 and is suitable for many types of jewelry. Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth, and avoid sudden temperature changes that may cause fractures.
